Please settle accounts at the time of consultation.  Payment can be made by cash, cheque, or most credit cards.

If you are having difficulties paying your fees, please talk to your doctor or the receptionists.  Please note that bulk billing is available for pensioners, Veterans Affairs cardholders and Department of  Social Security Health Care cardholders.

A consultation is required for a new referral letter to be written so that we can fully understand the problem and choose the appropriate specialist.

Prescriptions & repeat referrals done outside a consultation will attract a fee which is not recoverable from Medicare.

Blood results may be given by phone at Doctor’s discretion, but all x-ray and scan results require an appointment to allow adequate information and follow-up.  Email communication is used only for receiving pathology information and communications with specialists.

Work Certificates

These are legal documents and require an examination during appointment.

Our practice is linked with the University of Sydney and U.N.S.W.  We will have senior medical students occasionally in the practice as part of their study.  If this creates a problem, please inform the receptionist and the student will be excluded from your consultation.

From time to time this practice invites patients to complete a questionnaire on their views of the practice and how it could be improved.  These surveys are completely confidential and help us to improve our services.

Patients will be offered the opportunity to have a community based electronic health record with a Summary Health Profile uploaded with their consent.

eHealth aims to introduce electronic services to improve upon some paper-based systems. With the right protections in place, the electronic management of your health information has the potential to transform the way we do things now, by improving the quality and safety of our healthcare system.
